For
2008 the big news on our Ignition series is the all new,
3rd generation All-Mountain FS frame with 120mm travel (just
shy of 5"). Highlights include 6061 aluminum construction,
multi-link rear suspension, shaped main tubes with full
gussetting and ovalized seat-tube brace. While previous
generation Ignitions have always been excellent trailbikes,
this new frame takes the Ignition series up to a whole new
level of performance... longer travel, rugged design and
well thought out geometry make the new Ignitions easily
the most capable bikes that we've ever produced in their
price range.
This
new frame just screamed for higher-end components, so we've
developed the Ignition Super as our newest top-of-the-line
Ignition model. With a SRAM X7 drivetrain, 7" Avid
BB7 discs, Rock Shox Tora 302 Air fork and Manitou Radium
RL rear shock, the Ignition Super is spec'd with higher
level components than any Ignition model ever previously
produced. Yet, as with all Ignition models, it represents
a tremendous value and the price is very reasonable. We've
tried to hit the "sweet spot" in the mix of parts,
selecting those that we find offer the very best price-to-peformance
ratio.
