like the fact that all manuals for the components were included.
Also, I am very grateful to IBEX for being so accommodating to
those of us in the military, it is very difficult to find companies
who will ship such large items to APO's not to mention the fact
that the customer is only asked to pay the oversize charge!! That
policy sealed the deal for me. Thanks again and I look forward

bikes and your company is well known amongst the pilots of the
USMC. Bikes here are not a necessity, but working 14 hour days

"WOW! That is all I have to say about
my new Apogee XT. You guys were great to work with during the
purchase - better than the LBS. The day after receiving the bike,
I rode about 25 miles of trails in the Pisgah Forest / Dupont
State Forest area. The bike handled the technical downhills better
than I could have ever imagined. On my old FS, I had to pick lines
- not so much anymore - I just go! As for climbing, it feels more
like a hardtail than a FS as there was little to no bob in the
rear. The components worked flawlessly - from shifting on the
climbs to braking on the descents - it couldn't be better. I will
be purchasing a road bike soon - from Ibex of course! Thanks for

"Yesterday I went mountain biking with
my friend who had just recieved an Alpine 350 as a birthday gift.
At first glance, I admit I was a little skeptical of her bike,
having not heard of IBEX, but was extremely impressed with the
componentry. After riding for about 7 miles through sand, mud,
over fallen trees and rocks (the fun stuff), i was so intrigued
by how well
her bike was performing that we switched bikes. She rode my Gary
Fisher Tassajara, and i rode the 350. I must say that I am extremely
impressed with the quality, rigidity, and stability of the Alpine
350. The 350 performed almost as well as the Tassajara, and the
only reason it didn't is because they are not equally equipped
bikes. I am sure that had I been riding an Alpine 450 or 550 they
would have easily matched if not surpassed the performance of
my Fisher. I just want to thank you for making such wonderful
bikes so affordable finally. The next time I buy a mountain bike,
forget Fisher, Trek, and Specialized; I will buy an IBEX. Great
work!"

"My Ignition-2 is the sports car of
the bike rack. The first week I rode it to work I kept seeing
people eyeing the bike and trying to figure out who it belonged
to. When they finally figured out it was mine all I've been hearing

(now I know what it must be like to be married to a super model).
Last week I was stopped at a light and even the folks in the car
next to me were eyeing my Ignition-2! And my metallic silver Ignition-2
is indeed a beauty to behold. The frame geometry is functional
and cool and the same time (I think it looks like a killer bee).
The components are also very good (with the exception of quirky
front derailleur that rubs against the chain in some positions;
Shimano's fault though and not Ibex's). Aside from a few squeaks
I'm trying to track down this bike is just AWESOME. I'm proud
to own it when it's sitting in the middle of the living room,
I'm proud to own it when I see it in the bike rack at work, and
I'm really proud to own it when I'm riding it. Thanks for the
great workmanship, great components and stylish design for such
an unbelievable price! You've got a repeat customer and most likely
a few new customers from my job too! "
